Gold Medal winning project - Greyfriars Church Reading in the National Building & Construction Award

We are delighted to share that we have been associated with the Gold Medal winning project at Greyfriars Church Reading in the National Building and Construction Awards.

This project involved a major re-organisation of the church activities, including the creation of a new foyer, cafe, and bookshop, as well as sensitive works to this Grade I listed church. Greyfriars Church is said to be the most complete surviving example of Franciscan architecture in England, dating back to 1285.

We are immensely proud to have played a part in this significant achievement and would like to congratulate everyone involved in the project, including Greyfriars Church, JBKS Architects, Ash Construction, Ridge and Campbell Reith.

We believe that this project represents an excellent example of how the needs of contemporary society can be accommodated at very sensitive sites like this, while preserving their historical significance. It was a privilege to work on this project, and we look forward to continuing our association with Greyfriars Church Reading, JBKS Architects and Reading Borough Council.
